"The Yellow Wallpaper"

Hi i know I'm doing this last minute but anyway. "The Yellow Wallpaper is based on male domination over female's life. The main narrator as feeling trapped by being treated as a child with an ignorant ind which is very sad. In this story Gilman shows how women being teated on the nineteenth century. Women back then were not allowed to express how they feel and had to follow orders by men or their husband. The narrator's husband John was being cruel by not allowing her to be free and not even see her own baby. This lead to a psychological problem. Overall the ugly yellow wallpaper expresses how depressed the narrator was.
